Kim is a neighbor, a professional pianist with amazing skill. He's able to tickle the ivories (although "tickle the ivories" kind of implies lounge and/or wedding reception piano player, and this guy's a classically trained concert pianist and also an organist) despite having lost much of a finger in an accident years ago, yet years after turning pro.
