Silversmithing is one of those artistic pursuits that has always intrigued me, but as a trained (? I do have a diploma from an accredited institution.) ceramicist and amateur painter, it seemed like a magical and impossible thing. But there are some similarities compared with ceramics, at the root of it. Flames. Sculptural design. Utility of the product. Fun of the journey!
