I'm blaming it on my unwillingness to make sure I get the drawing right. But also on the sketchbook paper that wants to HOLD ON to the paint. No lifting, or the paper peels away, and then I'm left with this blech right side eyeball repaint! (Also, sorry about the weird pursed mouth, Jan.)
