This weekend, I visited Cassidy up in Canton, New York, and for the first time ever, set up my pochade box out in the village green, where people might see me painting! It was not as terrifying as all that, in the end, because once I was focused on getting the shapes and angles right, I lost sight of those other distractions and worries.
