Hey Suzy - I enjoy seeing the various portrait exercise you are posting here. I like this one in particular becuase there are more darks here than in your other watercolor portraits. I think hiding some of the detail in shadow (like in the eye sockets) encourages the viewer to finish the detail in their own imagination.
